Golf
Golf is a popular activity in the Milton area. Two public courses are available: Oak Ridge Golf Course and Bonny Meade Course. Both are located on Bowers Lake Road, and can be reached at 608-868-4353. This club offers both the nine hole Bonny Meade Course and regulation eighteen hole Oak Ridge course. Both courses have narrow fairways. Water hazards (two lakes) come into play on five holes on the Regulation Course. Most of the greens are sloped, undulating, and fast. There are also some strategically-placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The Bonny Meade Course has water hazards coming into play on all but one hole. This course was designed to mimic the Scottish-links tradition.
